I have received equipment worth $53 million as a donation from our ideological and strategic friends from the Russian Federation. I also launched the Military Mechanised Major Repair Facility at Gaddafi Military Barracks, Magamaga, and a workshop in Entebbe that is under construction.

I want to thank President Putin for the military support; this support is beneficial. What the Russians have done is just a glimpse of the good things they have achieved. Russia is a historic and very good friend of Africa.

🌉 Masindi Port Bridge

@GovUganda through financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), is advancing the construction of the Masindi Port Bridge, a landmark infrastructure project aimed at transforming connectivity and trade.

Spanning over 500 metres, the new bridge will replace the existing ferry crossing over the River Nile at Masindi Port, providing a permanent and reliable link between Kiryandongo District and the greater Lango and Acholi subregions.

The procurement process to identify a contractor for civil works is currently underway.
