Claims account for roughly 75% of every dollar in the P&C industry. Yet the industry standard is still to manually review <5% of claims, retroactively, using random samples that often miss what matters most.
A typical adjuster is carrying 150 to 200 open files at any given time. At that kind of volume, there's simply no way to review every claim thoroughly. Teams end up reviewing only a handful of files per adjuster each month. By the time something surfaces, the file is already closed and the opportunity to act has passed.
We built Adaptional to change that. Our AI agents are deployed across major P&C carriers today, reviewing every open claim in real time for compliance, coverage, leakage, service quality, subrogation, and reserves.
We believe every claims department will eventually run on a unified intelligence layer that manages files, flags handling actions, and escalates decisions that require human judgment. That's the future we're building toward at Adaptional.
If you're exploring AI in claims, we'd love to talk!
Thrilled to share that Adaptional has partnered with Guidewire, the leading system of record in insurance claims, as an Insurtech Vanguard.
Adaptional is making claims instant and accurate for everyone. Our AI agents are deployed across major P&C carriers, reviewing claims for compliance, quality, and accuracy. By working with Guidewire, Adaptional’s AI agents will seamlessly operate on top of the core claims system for more than 540 P&C insurers across 40 countries.
The Insurtech Vanguards program connects a select group of insurtechs directly with that customer base - giving carriers a faster, more structured way to find and evaluate emerging technology that's truly relevant to their operations.
Now we can work more closely with Guidewire's customers and help carriers get more out of the infrastructure they already run on.
Claims is 75% of every dollar in the P&C industry and still largely managed by adjusters working hundreds of open files by hand. We're working to change this.
Our focus is helping claims teams review 100% of open files in real time, rather than retroactive QA on a tiny sample of closed claims. In the future, we believe every claims department will run on a unified intelligence layer that manages files, flags handling actions, and escalates decisions that require human judgment. This is what we're building at Adaptional.
Excited to work with the Guidewire team and bring AI capabilities to more of the industry!
Underwriting is about to look less like data wrangling and more like a Wall Street trading floor.
Super fun conversation with @Reuters@_theinsurer. We discuss how AI is reshaping the underwriter's role: each underwriter will have a "team" of AI analysts, decisions made in seconds, and models constantly learning from outcomes.
The job shifts from form-filling to high-conviction decision-making — closer to how traders operate.
Our goal at @adaptionalAI: give insurance underwriters the tools to move faster, see more, and make better calls.
