@juliedabrusin is my MP, and up to the airport debacle her office has been GREAT. They have gone completely silent on the airport matter, notwithstanding both her Cabinet portfolio and her riding.
It is extremely disappointing. The gaslighting by Toronto’s liberal MPs on this matter has been something to behold. Please don’t take our support for granted
“The regulation states that if a local police service offers a school resource officer program, the board must enter into a memorandum of understanding with police to implement it.”
Teachers and EAs are losing their jobs, and we’re spending $41M on cops instead.
What you should realize is that it's all **already happening**.
This is not in the proposing phase, this is in the "we gotta sell this now because people are gonna notice" phase.
Bill 5 and Carney's companion legislation made it all possible.
Hey remember kids! Politics pays, when dime bag Doug first came to power he was worth 3 million, recent accounts have at 50 million, that's the story that needs to be investigated!

@realcdnrhetoric Nah. Not going to happen. DoFo set things up so that he wouldn’t have to face the electorate again until 2029/30. We have another few years of him in a position to do damage. Then he’ll send everyone a rebate cheque just before the election. Rinse and repeat.

We wrote about the "spa" over three years ago - in April 2023.
We know a lot more now than we did back then. Now, for example, we know the chair of Therme is also prez of Palantir Canada. 😵💫
But even back then, the parking plans gave it away - it's not a bloody spa.
First, Doug Ford shut down the Legislature until late October. Now he's trying to cancel summer meetings of the committee that vets government appointments.
Accountability doesn't take a summer vacation. Apparently this government thinks it should. #onpoli

HOW DOES OLIVIA CHOW figure “no city of toronto property taxpayer has to pay anything to host the World Cup?”
Toronto is paying at least $180 million for the World Cup. Some of that comes from “reserve funds” which are filled with tax dollars.
