At 11 AM, the Grand International Exposition of Sacred Piprahwa Relics related to Bhagwan Buddha, ‘The Light & the Lotus: Relics of the Awakened One’, will be inaugurated at Rai Pithora Cultural Complex in Delhi.

This Exposition brings together:

The Piprahwa relics repatriated after more than a century.

Authentic relics and archaeological materials from Piprahwa that are preserved in the collections of the National Museum, New Delhi and the Indian Museum, Kolkata.

Hope you bring update regarding these.

मैं पंजाब के किसानों को बधाई देता हूँ जिन्होंने 3 काले कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ लड़ाई शुरू की।

एक तय तरीक़े से किसानों को ख़त्म करने की साज़िश रची जा रही है। देश की खेती को चंद कारपोरेट्स के हवाले करने का प्लान तैयार था। लेकिन आप लोगों के आंदोलन ने किसानी को बचा लिया।

आज़ादी के बाद पहली बार, हर किसान पर ₹25,000 प्रति हेक्टेयर टैक्स लगाया।

‘PM फसल बीमा योजना’ को Private Insurance Company की मुनाफा योजना' बनाया। 2016 से 2022 के बीच बीमा कंपनियों ने ₹40,000 करोड़ कमाए।

अंग्रेजों के जमाने में RSS-BJP के लोगों ने उनकी मदद की। गाँधी जी के भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में भी अंग्रेजों की मदद की। वो रोज़ उठकर कांग्रेस और राहुल गांधी को गालियाँ देते हैं। जो व्यक्ति पदयात्रा निकालता है उसको भला बूरा कहते हैं। क्यों ? उन्होंने सरकार में कोई पद तो नहीं लिया !

संत रविदासजी ने कहा था कि —

“ऐसा चाहू राज मैं, जहां मिले सभी को अन्न,
छोट-बड़े सब समान बसे, रविदास रहे प्रसन्न।”

हम ऐसा राज चाहते हैं, जहां संविधान का शासन हो, लोकतंत्र हो।

मोदी जी सिर्फ़ अमीरों के लिए काम करते हैं। मालदारों के लिए काम करते हैं। इसलिए ग़रीब और ग़रीब,अमीर और अमीर बन रहा है। 30 लाख सरकारी पद ख़ाली पड़े हैं। इसमें से 15 लाख पद दलित, आदिवासी, अन्य पिछड़े वर्ग के लोगों को मिल जाते इसलिए वो ये भर्ती नहीं कर रहे।

इसीलिए ऐसी सरकार को उखाड़कर फेंक देना चाहिए।और डॉ मनमोहन सिंह जी जैसी सरकार वापस आनी चाहिए।

Remembering a great King of #Baroda & social reformer Maharaja #SayajiraoGaekwad III, on his death anniversary. In 1881 he opend eight schools for girls & training college for lady teachers. In 1893 King Sayajirao introduced free & compulsory primary education in his kingdom. Maharaja #SayajiraoGaekwad inclined towards the holistic developments & the subjects focusing on social reforms. He gave scholarship to Dr #BabaSahebAmbedkar to go abroad to study & even appointed him as a member of Dhara Sabha (Legislative Assembly) of Baroda State.

171 year's ago #OnThisDay in 1853, #SavitribaiPhule started Infanticide Prohibition Home – the first of its kind in India. In this Home, widows could give birth to their children & leave them there. 66 women gave birth to their children up to 1873. The Brahminical Social Order of the times were very much oppressive towards women, irrespective of their caste. With plenty of rituals & traditions that supported male superiority in society, it was a hard time for woman against whom many of the prevailing customs were hard upon.

It was a time when widows were shunned and remarriage was unthought of. With tradition allowing young girls to be married off at a very young age, and to males who could be quite old in comparison, widowhood was a spectacle generally witnessed in Pune and its nearby villages. Adolescents & young girls happened to more amongst the widows. These widows were boycotted publicly and with the meagre financial support, they were clandestine subjects to sexual exploitation. They happened to be pregnant due to lack of contraceptives or other measures.

So they had to be victimised for the reason for which they had not been responsible. Women had to lose their life due to unhealthy ways of abortion. Many newborns were been killed after delivery by widows to avoid social ostracism. Many times they had to leave their home.

📚26.5% of this age group still cannot read a Class 2 level text fluently in their regional language.

📚25% of 17-18 age-group have discontinued education, mostly due to 'lack of interest'.

#OTD in 1932, #MahatmaGandhi broke his fast unto death. The #PoonaPact influenced the Government of India Act 1935, separate electorates were given to Muslims, Sikhs & others, but not to the Depressed Classes. The leaders of the Depressed Classes, including #DrAmbedkar, were not happy with the #PoonaPact. Even though the numbers of seats reserved was double than what the Award had offered, separate electorates were viewed as a critical tool for political representation.
