#UnpopularOpinion #76. I am glad I have experienced life before, during & after formal employment. In my current time zone, one needs steady cash flow. Food, school fees, medical bills, social obligations hit you hard. If you are where I was 20 years ago, save, invest wisely & enjoy retirement. Investing after retirement is tricky. It should be done before. You only need to supervise what you started earlier on. Time comes when you will rue your current expenditure options. Those @nssfug or unit trust savings are important. Don’t burn your hard earned cash through irresponsible living. Those rounds you offer every evening, can be churned into some investment. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t drink or socialise. Simply be wise how you spend. Time comes when those you chopped it with won’t even call or visit you.
