@ecto0o Unfortunately you'll have to export(adastry)/import(koinly) your transactions again. The safe way is to delete everything and import again until everytings good. Tip: create per year wallet on koinly, ie: ADA2023, so you can quickly delete current year history until it's good.

With respect to Binance, I'm reading through the SEC complaint. It's over 130 pages, but seems like the next in a series of steps to implement chokepoint 2.0 in the United States. The end goal is a agenda based CBDC partnered with a handful of massive banks and end-to-end control over every aspect of your financial life.

A regulatory event is where you have a debate about compliance with a law or guidance. This event seems to be a polticial philosophical disagreement with the very existence of cryptocurrencies and what they represent. An unelected group of people have decided that concepts like self-sovereign identity, owning your wallet, and the freedom to control your economic agency should be removed from the masses and given to the "enlightened" few.

Honestly, what is happening isn't anything new. It's always the same fight between freedom and authoritarianism just with different players, technology, and words. It does seem like this event is a perfect opportunity for the entire industry to set aside it's fragmented nature and unite for a common sense set of rules and guidelines that can prevent the United States from slipping into a distopia that would make 1984 look like a vacation.

I'll have more to say later, but will close with we are going to be fine. Everything's alright and the future is bright for the industry.

Yes there are many “influencers” and even projects that actually say this on every major chain…. I encourage them to stop saying this and here me out.

I’m not a dev and on my journey I learned about blockchain consensus, side chains and l2s, horizontal vs vertical scaling, block propagation, native tokens, how fkn GitHub even works, the cip process, liquid staking, determinism, eutxo vs utxo vs eths accounting model, metadata, dsl’s vs edsl’s and much more ! Learning these concepts helped me see why these things are so important to be aware of for long term viability of a blockchain….

My point is if I can learn these concepts so can almost anyone.

So why would I purposely not talk and share what I’ve learned about the tech ?

I’ve literally had many convos where people from eth or polygon or other blockchains willingly say “Cardano has the best tech but it won’t matter cus eth already has the network effect”… oh so the best tech and trade offs doesn’t matter when it comes to first movers advantage ? You ever here of MySpace the meme to Facebooks long maintained dynasty?

Not a bash on Eths tech just more so a bash on the influencers and projects who ignore the techs value to consumers. This again happens everywhere too definitely not just eth…

everyone is still learning and the industry is just getting legs…

This is literally technology and the industry is no longer just Ico’s and trading the cycles. the tech is starting to matter lady’s and gents.

Oh it will matter more and more💯. and people will see who has the best tech in the end even if it’s not eth or cardano and some new blockchain catches up with both… people will eventually find out.

cus the blockchain infrastructure is no longer novelty it’s turning into necessity….. for the masses to come in you don’t need to pump your meme coins …. You just need to build something useful the masses can safely augment troubled legacy systems with or something people can fully migrate to if legacy systems actually fail…

Also if people are coming to my Twitter spaces or any spaces in general and they genuinely want to ask about the tech I fully encourage and support all the nerdy people and geeky people or even just competent people from every blockchain community to speak about the tech😈

I support those “nerds” who are brave enough to talk about the tech when some dumb bozo says you shouldn’t cus maybe they don’t personally understand it cus they haven’t tried…

Knowing as much as possible about the tech is also the best self regulated consumer protection we got ….

It’s not even just about understanding Cardano’s tech but alot of the tech of the cross chain world so many of these “don’t talk about the tech” people are pushing for ! We can strive to have better exposure/common understanding of major blockchains “boring” tech and we can all level up our knowledge as an industry ….

It’s very important we get our shit together as an industry folks… open youre eyes …. There is a potential ocean of adoption coming to what currently is just a small puddle of people over the next decade …
