This is the 2022 Be.EV story recycled. The contract wasn't with Manchester City Council, it was with Transport for Greater Manchester, a different body, and it predates his wife's directorship, the TfGM contract to run the EV charging network was already in place before that. Burnham declared the interest at the time and removed himself from related decisions. Worth checking dates before reposting.
@O2 That’s quite disappointing, so you never pay the advertised price?
Not even EE do that, they have a cut off of the 1st March.
On what date do you stop doing this?
@AmazonHelp@amazon@AmazonUK So @Amazon apologised profusely and couldn’t understand how an item with a Euro plug could be sold by @AmazonUK and it was a one off issue and they would send me the correct UK item (guaranteed it would UK plug)
Guess what? Yes, another Euro plugged item delivered 5 min ago.
@amazon Could someone explain why @AmazonUK are supplying illegal products? The Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994 makes it illegal to sell a product to a UK consumer without an “approved UK 3-pin plug (BS 1363) or a safety-approved conversion plug”
And yet…
@AmazonHelp And just like the sun always rises in the east Evri will always screw up the delivery.
Well done @amazon for using the worst delivery service in the UK!
Please stop using this useless bunch, it’ll only drive customers away.
Seriously @amazon why are @AmazonUK using a service like #evri for Prime deliveries? You do know that Prime is supposed to be next day delivery which is never going to happen with them.
This is supposed to be delivered today and it hasn’t even left their hub yet.
@AmazonHelp@amazon@AmazonUK Nice copy/paste stock reply, you didn’t actually touch on my points. Why are Amazon using a service as bad as Evri for Prime delivery?
I have two items arriving today, one with Amazon Logistics and one with Evri. I KNOW that only one will be arriving.
