@ScribblingC I did my first one this year and it's way more fun and low stakes than I thought, you just find people's characters you like, whether it's on your own team or on the other team and "attack" them with fan art, and people can get revenge on you or someone else can attack you first

@ScribblingC Every July, artists on the art fight website get split into 2 thematic teams. Both teams try to accumulate the most points by the month's end by drawing fan art of other people's OCs. Simple sketches to fully polished pieces. It's a fun way to meet and gift art to fellow artists

@SoapySoapster They just look really off model, Shrek's art style thrived on being mostly realistic to emphasize the grit they added to fairy tales. It would be a parody of stuff like Disney with a grounded lens. It worked great for Puss in the last wish, but toonifying shrek just looks weird

@killkactus I like the usual shape of the Thing, but I kind of love this idea of him being a strong fat sort of shape. Being able to naturally roll around like a boulder to gain momentum and do devastating belly flops would be a cool thing to add to his abilities

@Cupcakecockshoc You did fine, it's distinctive enough to be interesting while having the influences. A lot of anime/manga have always looked kinda samey to me which puts me off from checking out most of it, but some of my favorite in recent years have distinct quirks that give them an identity.
