@ESabro3 I think highly of McCollum, he was able to really over-achieve with the roster he had last season. But I am sort of inclined to believe that was more due Bennett Stirtz.
And Painter is definitely a better coach than Jake Diebler but Ohio State's roster has so much more talent
@BeyondTheArcCBB Probably the best roster that Cronin has constructed himself. Wish he had done this 3 years ago instead of the euro year but this roster looks so promising for the next 2 years
A good assessment of this upcoming season. If Perry takes a step up and Kusturica adjusts sooner rather than later we could easily finish top 10 in the country
#15 UCLA Bruins-
Trent Perry 12.6 PPG
Jaylen Petty 9.9 PPG Texas Tech
Eric Dailey Jr 11.6-5.8
Nikola Kusturica Overseas
Xavier Booker 7.3-3.5
F Filip Jovic 6.3-4 Auburn
G Stink Robinson 6.1 PPG Butler
F Sergej Macura 5-4.8 MSST
G Eric Freeny 2 PPG
F Brandon Williams 2.6 PPG
F Joe Philon FR
This a squad I've gotten higher and higher on as the offseason has went on. The add of Kusturica might be the best across the country considering the timing, player and fit on the roster. He will be one of the most talented players in the country. The Perry & Petty backcourt is gonna be FUN. 2 elite shooters that will fit super well together. Then they bring back Dailey & Booker who both started last year. Having 5 guys off the bench who played legit high major minutes last year is something you don't see too often. Robinson & Jovic are 2 guys that could bring some really key minutes. Ultimately this is a team that can compete with some of the elites for me but it will come down to how good is Kusturica from the jump. If he is a star they have a perfect fit of a team behind them and could end up as a top 10 team.
BREAKING: Serbian forward Nikola Kusturica has reached a multi-year agreement to play for UCLA, sources told ESPN, giving the Bruins arguably the best European prospect in his age group and an early contender for the No. 1 pick in the 2028 NBA draft. Just turned 17 in April.
𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Projected top-three NBA Draft pick and FC Barcelona talent Nikola Kusturica is committing to UCLA on a $12 million NIL deal, per EuroHoops.
The 17-year-old Serbian is expected to sign the deal as a two-year contract.
Kusturica chose the Bruins over several other lucrative offers from schools like Kentucky.
