@hardyrenos $100 000 is after 13 years experience. Usually after 2-3 years of supply teaching and 6 years of school. If you think teachers just show up at school with no lesson plan or prep, you are mistaken.

@RevivalCare A qualified occassional teacher can follow a classroom teacher’s day plans. However my original point was that teachers are not asking to remove COVID safe practices. They are saying teaching remotely on a snow day does not work. Hybrid teaching is unsustainable.

@RevivalCare That is. It happening now. If schools were closed like they were before I believe a switch to online learning would happen - emergency circumstances. If a teacher is sick, a supply teacher is called in.
