365 days is enough to change your life and build smth big.
Building AdBida to $1M MRR in 12 months, in public, on my bike ๐ด
25+ yrs in ads & growth.
Hi, I'm Matt. 25+ years in online ads, media buying and growth.
Now I'm building AdBida in public: a growth network and sponsor marketplace for SaaS founders.
To bootstrap it, I'm turning myself into a human billboard for 365 days, with a daily vlog and real numbers.
My goal is crazy: $1M MRR in 12 months.
I don't know 99% of the how yet, but I have some solid 1% growth ideas.
And I'm sharing them publicly.
Connect with me and I'll help you win too.

P.S. Your project might also end up on top of my orange helmet billboard.
P.S.2 Yes, I'll handwrite it and record a video.
What are you building?
@Anushkaa1407@Calendly@loom@typeform@figma Best kind of growth: every time someone uses it, somebody new sees it.
I'd ask every founder which part of their product could do that.
@shivamA2k Your first dollar teaches more than the next thousand.
Where do you expect LicenceMate's first paying user to come from, search or word of mouth?
@ipanditshashi The mistake I see most often is building first and finding the channel later.
Pick where the first 100 users come from before writing anything.
@marsc_hb Congrats. Over a year without posting and still growing tells you the product was doing the work.
What was the biggest channel getting you from 2.5k to 10k?
@SerhanYavcin A flat price is easy to say yes to when you're at $5k MRR.
Are more signups coming from that comparison, or from founders who just saw a failed payment?
@MarkoCirix Same in paid ads: reach looks great in a report, cost per customer is what pays the bills.
How do you track ROI from AI search citations, if at all?
@kaynesheenan@FilipPanoski Good thread. The years at $0 are the part nobody screenshots.
Was there one thing most of them did in common before it turned?
@toasiif Congrats on the first sale. Building from your own frustration usually means you know where the buyers hang out.
Do you know how that first buyer found it?
@SMAbdullahAhsan Agree. Mine would say: here's what you used last week, and here's what's new since you joined.
A discount just teaches people to tap cancel.
@mariluukkainen Love that the users picked the niches for you.
Would you lean into the university forums? Class groups refill with new students every year.
@madsmadsdk Same thing I see with ads. Traffic only converts when there's already some proof people want it.
What was the first signal you'd now wait for before launching?
