SBI deducted tax from principal amount of a new FD instead of deducting from interest of another account . Is it justified?

@TheOfficialSBI 'Tax on previous interest is deducted from account which comes first for interest payout when threshold limit is crossed.'This is the resolution I got for TDS deducted from principal amount of FD opened on 31st March. Is it logical?

@canarabank Submitted self attested masked aadhaar and also produced original aadhaar card for my address update in my Canara Bank home branch but same was not acceptable to the branch manager. Told me to come later for biometric .Is this a standard practice ?
