The JRJR cover drama and the X-Men jacket drama is just reminding me your average comic book fan doesn’t view the medium as art but instead a collection of colorful pictures that should appeal to their tastes and their tastes only.
I REALLY like this cover because we so rarely see JR’s work rendered three dimensionally with a painterly approach. It’s a striking take that feels unique.
But, it would also be pretty stunning colored like he is more often - like ASM 600 pictured here.
This makes their entire ruling invalid, it's complete erasure of what the suffragettes did. No Matter how they twist history to justify their actions it will not make arresting elderly people silently protesting any more palatable.
