Adda Girl Education Foundation, in collaboration with @ActionAidNG implemented the 'Noman Tsakar Gida: Backyard Potato Farming for 50 ADDA Mothers
project at Nafada Local Government today, June 27th, 2024.
The program seeks to reduce underaged Barema (farm labour),
improve livelihoods and support women’s rights.
The program featured hands-on demonstration of irish potato sack farming, soil preparation, planting techniques, pest management, and watering practices. They were also trained on women's rights, reporting, and business management.
