@BBCR1 that Stormy song was sublime and at the same time my local church bells rang out and the first 2 notes were the same ones he started each line of the chorus on!!!! Will always think of this now x
@djnicholl @Mel_ReidTimes I am going to read this. I have a ‘new paraplegic friend’ and want to understand what he has gone through and how ‘relationships might work’.
Also what is the programme you mentioned that talked about city breaks with disabled access? Thanks
@RivkahBrown@Baddiel I thought @Baddiel programme was excellent. I am not Jewish but think that it is a taboo race so when it comes to saying - hold on - that is a hate crime etc, it is brushed under the carpet.
#adhdtax order ONE Christmassy top and have pressed 4. Now the drama of #clothesreturns - will I manage to do it this time?
Or still be selling them on FB Sales in 2029! FFS!!!!

@helenamerriman@Autism Just read the book Out of Sync Child - and whilst I am not autistic, I have been diagnosed with ADHD at 48 but Sensitive Processing Disorder has been present all my life.
@BBCWomansHour I was never told to calm down, my employers realised that when I was loud and energetic with stuff to say - there was creative ADHD Magic happening.
My mum however, used to say it all the time and Shhhhh and it would drive me mad!!!
I still feel the same with Elvanse - 2y on. It works for me - everyone is different.
I don’t take it every day, at the most every other day. But it flattens out all the distractions & no napping.

Not a fan of fancy dress ie #Halloween as #ADHD means Masking is normal and not a novelty.

Feeling different & not quite fitting in, is part of my #ADHD
But when I am abroad, I feel more comfortable than most visitors,as they feel like ‘outsiders’ & I am used to it!

@ADDitudeMag I am training to be a certified coach in UK for those with ADHD. I won’t be teaching people about better organisation (that is everywhere, making us feel worse TBH) but how to interact and feelings and fit in x
