Unimech Aerospace's micro gas turbine engine story, a closer look:

1. Unimech Aerospace is a precision engineering and manufacturing company serving Aerospace, Defence, Semiconductors and Energy. It does not design engines itself.
Instead, the engine IP sits with its associate, Dheya Engineering Technologies, while Unimech has exclusive manufacturing rights for its aero-engine products.

2. In December 2025, Unimech increased its stake in Dheya from 17% to 30%. This isn't a passive investment, it's a strategic design-to-manufacturing partnership

3. Dheya's product lineup:
→ DET 500: India's first indigenously designed 500N-class micro turbojet
→ DET 60: Hydrogen flex-fuel micro turbogenerator
→ Modular turbojet family, scalable 200N to 3,500N
→ ATAL: tabletop aero-engine lab for training/R&D
→ Oil-free hydrogen recirculation systems for naval use

4. Target applications: UAVs, target drones, loitering munitions, distributed power, naval propulsion.

5. Technical progress: a 65,000 RPM bench test milestone was hit (disclosed in Q3 FY26 investor presentation, Feb 2026).

6. Dheya's ownership and funding trail:
→ ₹2.5cr pre-seed from iHub DivyaSampark (2023)
→ ₹10.5cr from Unimech (2024)
→ Unimech's stake raised from 17% to 30% (Dec 2025)

Indigenous propulsion is the long game here. Worth tracking.
