@tabythahalza You’re right! The rehetocial situation helps improve reading in a variety of ways. I’m glad we learned this so I am able to apply it in other classes for both reading and writing. #writ273mu
@ashlyngraceh I have always strayed away from Twitter as well. I always had it downloaded but never really was drawn to it. This class helped me navigate it while also improving my writing/reading ablilities as a student :) #writ273mu
Something I learned about reading in this class is how to verify information effectively. I learned when researching how important it is to look into the task, rather than skimming for information. #writ273mu
This is what I have included in my conclusion so far. I feel that I wrapped up the social media project effectively. Is there anything I can add to make my conclusion stronger? #writ273mu
My subheadings:
1. Student and Teacher POV
2. Effects On Students
3. Government Affiliation
I chose these subheadings because the research I have done is very wide spread. It allows me to section off my research so my annotated bib flows correctly. #writ273mu
I have been working on my social media project draft daily to break up the project into smaller pieces. This allows me to focus on a section at a time, while also lowering my work load so I am not overwhelmed. #writ273mu
I am using APA format. At the end of my citation I have “Screenshot by (Addison Eakins) I saw an article that recommended this when using direct screenshots. Is this a correct method?

My introduction concerns whether standardized testing comes when students are too young; and whether their results can improve teaching and learning among younger generations. I am struggling to pick a main focus when researching because this is such a broad topic. #writ273mu
@AlyssaC2702 I agree! I was excited when I realized we could use more than twitter, I am not used to this app as much as other social medias. #writ273mu
My social media research method includes many platforms. I incorporated twitter, facebook, youtube and more! I plan to continue thoroughly researching threads, hashtags and articles. Researching this topic has allowed to to find many credible sources to build my point! #writ273mu
Tweets will allow me to add a new perspective because teachers parents and students all feel differently about standardized testing. While social media researching, I have read through lots of opinions/facts that have been implemented into my bib! #writ273mu
This week I need to finish my social media check in. I have been slowly working on that while building my social media bibliography. The check in questions really helped me focus in on the upcoming bib. #writ273mu
