American Airlines Flight Lands in Chicago With Flat Tires, No Injuries Reported

An American Airlines Boeing 737 arriving from Miami landed safely at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Tuesday night despite experiencing a tire issue during landing. The Federal Aviation Administration said Flight 791 touched down at about 10:30 p.m., with crew members later reporting a flat main landing gear tire.

American Airlines said the problem occurred while the aircraft was taxiing to the gate after landing normally. Passengers were reportedly kept onboard for nearly two hours before being bused to the terminal, while emergency crews responded on the runway. No injuries were reported, and the aircraft was taken out of service for inspection.
