@WildlifeTrusts @GreenGymPenge Great guidance. I also add comfrey leaves to create more of a rotten smell and a platform for a Robin (like a small plastic lid or plant pot tray) to pick off the rat tailed maggots that swim in the stinky soup

Our Halloween event will take place @ East India Way end of the park on Friday 1 Nov from 17:30-19:00. Bring a torch & wear halloween gear if you wish. Suitable for all the family. Please note naked flames & fireworks are not permitted in Croydon parks. Please leave dogs at home.

Wassail! Wassail! Thank you to everyone who joined the annual Wassail in the Park today. This year included the official dedication of a new park seat by @CHASEAddiscombe with the Councillors & Mayor and we were joined again by the wonderful @WildHuntMorris #wassail

It is time for the Orchard Wassail, Saturday 27 Jan. This year it includes the official dedication of a new park seat by CHASE Residents’ Association at the orchard. Councillors & the Mayor will be attending at around 3pm. See poster for approx. times. #wassail

This is a Free event for all the family. You can dress up & wear scary masks. This area of the park will be lit with fairy lights however bringing a torch is recommended. The Scary Grotto has ghosts, skeletons, spider webs. The Graveyard has skeletons & graves #halloween #spooky
