@LaceyLambert20 I love this strategy as well! I think students that are language learners would benefit from it the most, and I think having these students work in groups is a great idea!
@LaceyLambert20 I haven’t seen students using computers in math! This is useful for students to practice numbers and key vocabulary, but I think that computation should be done on paper, as students can check their work and see their mistakes.
@julieedwards112 I love this idea as well! You can definitely tell if students are uninterested in class, and I’m glad that you can already tell the difference that it is making!
@LaceyLambert20 In the classroom I am in, we use an UNWRAP strategy where students underline, number the paragraphs, read the questions, read the passage, answer the questions, then provide evidence. I think this is a great strategy to use in the classroom for the older grades!
@julieedwards112 In my class, we are reading a book that relates to what they’re learning in Social Studies (Africa). I think this is a great example of reading across content areas, as students are able to connect learning across the curriculum. Have you seen anything like this before?
