Stop building systems for a hypothetical future self who will one day become an immaculate archivist. Build one that helps you think on a Tuesday morning. That is a better standard.

A lot of knowledge management is just moving information out of sight and calling it a system. The real test: can it answer a serious question on a Tuesday morning? If not, it is storage. https://t.co/rNx9i31v7b

The shift that matters: Old model - save things neatly for later. Better model, dump raw material in, let AI maintain the structure, retrieve by asking. The value is not in the setup. It is in the loop.

Most PKM advice tries to make you a better librarian. The better move is to stop making the person the librarian. Let the AI maintain the structure. You handle capture and questions.

A notes archive fails silently. Looks organised. Feels responsible. Practically useless. A question-led system fails out loud, you can see the gaps and fix them. That is a better failure mode.

If your knowledge system depends on sustained clerical discipline, it will die the moment work gets busy. Not a character flaw. A bad design https://t.co/rNx9i31v7b

[Zera Yacob 🎈 @addiszerayacob]

Most personal knowledge systems are clerical work dressed up as thinking.

You save. Tag. File. Organise. Then never go back.

The problem is not note-taking. It is retrieval and maintenance.

Stop saving. Start asking.

5/ The Red Hat Enterprise Ecosystem 🔴
Red Hat started as a standalone Linux distro but evolved into:
• Fedora (community, upstream for RHEL)
• RHEL (Enterprise) → Clones: CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, RockyLinux
• Oracle Linux, Amazon Linux (RHEL-based)

He’s demonstrated remarkable resilience, even in the face of overwhelming odds. But over time, it’s become clear that his resilience stems less from strength and more from his inflated sense of self-importance and self-righteousness.#Eritrea

🧵 Exposing the Fallacy of Isaias Afwerki’s Misguided Take on Ethiopia’s Grand Renaissance Dam. He is letting his rhetoric outpace reality AGAIN. #GERD #Ethiopia

[Zera Yacob 🎈 @addiszerayacob]

9/ In conclusion, Afwerki’s statement is factually wrong and dangerously inflammatory. GERD is about powering Ethiopia’s future, not punishing Egypt. Let’s focus on building bridges—literally and metaphorically. #GERD #HornOfAfrica
