Universal Studios Japan has officially revealed more details about “Resident Evil Requiem – The Dive,” the main attraction for its 2026 edition of Halloween Horror Nights, inspired by the latest main installment in the franchise, which will be available from September 11 through December 27, 2026.

"Raccoon City, where access is currently prohibited. The Wrenwood Hotel is an abandoned building located on the outskirts of the city.

Grace, an FBI analyst who went to this hotel to investigate a series of recent mysterious deaths, has gone missing. You, too, arrive here in search of her, but…

The moment you step inside, you’ll find yourself in a strange and supernatural world.
Crumbling walls, hallways littered with the corpses of victims… And what are those monstrous creatures that suddenly attack you…!? Summon your courage and survive this blood-curdling, spine-chilling scene—and the threat looming over you!".

🌿 What makes this attraction unique?

• Point 1: The world is recreated in meticulous detail

The story begins in the back alleys of the Renwood Hotel. From crumbling bricks, rusty fire escapes, and flickering streetlights... to the interior of the ruined hotel, the world is recreated in meticulous detail!

• Point 2: An all-out attack with no escape route

The unpredictable terror of not knowing where the attack will come from (360 degrees). Experience the suffocating tension firsthand, with no escape route and no idea when it will end!

• Point 3: Realistic live-action

Action unfolds up close. The attraction features scenes where Leon and Grace perform action sequences right before your eyes. The live-action, which makes you feel like you've stepped into that world, is a must-see!

🎭 Characters You’ll Encounter

• Zombies: The classic undead, some retaining traits from their former lives.

• Leon S. Kennedy: A DSO agent and Raccoon City survivor who investigates the events alongside Grace.

• Grace Ashcroft: An FBI analyst specializing in deduction who went missing after entering the hotel.

This is an extreme horror experience rated R-15, designed to provide a constant, relentless sense of danger. The design recreates two iconic settings from Resident Evil: Requiem in meticulous detail: the Wrenwood Hotel, an abandoned building shrouded in mystery, and the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, the setting where much of the game’s plot unfolds.
