BREAKING: Newly minted Democratic Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed comes out swinging against his "coward" MAGA opponent in a fiery barrage.

Michigan has found itself a real progressive fighter...

"Mike, I'm gonna say it right now, I know you're gonna say no because you're a coward: Five debates, alright? If you're willing to stand with me and have a conversation, you and I both know that you will wither in front of your own crimes," El-Sayed said. "But I'm gonna make sure Michiganders know about them."

"By the time we're done, you are not gonna have safe quarter from people holding you accountable to what you've done for them here in Michigan. We will send you back to Florida where you belong!" he added.

Republican candidate Mike Rogers is exactly as detestable a figure as one would expect coming out of a party led by noted pedophiliac war criminal Donald Trump. He supports the worst abuses of this administration and will bend over backwards to shovel money to corporations and oligarchs on the backs of working class Michiganders.

El-Sayed touted the fact that his 12,000 volunteers knocked on 10,000 doors a day during his primary against centrist Democrat Haley Stevens, allowing him to defeat her despite $70 million pouring in from out of state to prop up her candidacy, $30 million of which came from AIPAC.

"But right now, as bitter and as divisive and as cynical as the campaign against us might have been, I want us to realize that there is so much more that unites us now," said El-Sayed. "Because the campaign that Mike Rogers and Donald Trump and their GOP MAGA allies are launching is already more bitter. All you got to do is look at the ads you're already watching on TV started today..."

"You know, they think that you want to use my whole name against me. Mike, listen, man, if you can't say the name, it's Abdulrahman. Keep the name out your damn mouth," said Dr. El-Sayed.

Predictably, Republicans are already targeting El-Sayed's Islamic faith and his full name, which is Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed. It's the "Barack Hussein Obama" playbook all over again. But it's not going to work. Voters are suffering under Republican policies and some low-hanging racist messaging isn't going to make them forget that fact.

"So he can point to my name all he wants. But I also tell you this. I've been an Abdul in Michigan my whole life," he continued. "This is like the best place in the world to be Abdul. You know why? Because Michiganders are big hearted. They're open minded. They're earnest and they're gritty. And Michiganders are sick and tired of B.S. politics coming in to divide us when there's so much more we can unite to actually guarantee if we're willing to come together around it."

El-Sayed's policy platform is exactly what this country needs right now. He supports Medicare for All, taxing billionaires, raising wages, expanding affordable housing, abolishing and replacing ICE, ending the Senate filibuster, and a whole slew of other incredibly popular policies.

"Mike Rogers is the guy who wants to put a data center in your backyard so he can make himself feel a little bit more manly by making an AI video," said El-Sayed.

"Mike Rogers is a guy who has never shied away from a DTE check so he could turn his face in the direction of Florida."

"Mike Rogers is a guy who will do anything Blue Cross Blue Shield wants him to do, including raise your rates."

"Mike Rogers is a guy who introduced legislation to increase the flow of opioids. He did that while I was in high school."

"Mike Rogers is a guy whose politics and vision and perspective are old."

"Mike Rogers is a guy who has never shied away from a corporation he could do a favor for."

"Mike Rogers is a guy who, believe it or not, went back to Florida so he could lick every single boot Donald Trump owns to beg for his endorsement."

"I'm so sorry. If you want a senator who's going to lick some boots, fine, go vote for Mike Rogers. But if you want a senator who's going to stand up to Donald Trump, then you've got your option right here," he added.

"They're going to point at me. They're going to point at my name. It's like, well, he's different," said El-Sayed. "That's the best you got. You can't actually talk about what you want to do. My name is not raising your gas prices. My name is not taking us to war. My name is not the reason you can't afford your groceries. You know what it is? Their B.S. policies."
