I was just at a vigil at Toronto city hall to honour and remember the lives lost in Palestine, and to demand justice. During mid-interview with @AndrewCP24, the cameraman stopped filming and walked away and just left entirely. Andrew apologized to me and said this has never happened before in his entire career. I was simply sharing what I witnessed as a healthcare worker on the ground in Gaza in February this year. In Canada, journalists don’t want to cover or even hear the truth it seems.
"In Toronto’s Bridle Path, Bayview Village, and Willowdale, the average resident can expect to live past 84 years—higher than even Japan. Meanwhile, in Rexdale, Oakridge, and Moss Park, death comes more than a decade earlier—on par with countries like Tunisia and Nicaragua."
As Torah Jews, we support the lawsuit filed by the Republic of South Africa at the International Court of Justice on the grounds that Israel violated the Genocide Convention in Gaza.
The genocide committed by the Zionist State of Israel against the Palestinian people must not go unpunished and the zionists must be tried in front of all humanity.
We stand with the Palestinian people.
There are people who want us to ignore unequal outcomes—all the inequities between racial groups in health, education, the political economy, the environment, and the criminal punishment system. They reject the notion that inequality of outcome is a signpost of inequality of opportunity. Because their racist ideas explain unequal outcomes between racial groups.
As such, they believe efforts toward equity are not only unnecessary. They are pernicious.” Because for them, racial inequity reflects racial hierarchy, not the power structure of racist policy.
These people believe Black people as a group are lacking in merit, aptitude, and work ethic when compared to White people as a group—and that’s the reason for the unequal outcomes. As an example, they believe White people have been in many more presidential positions than Black people because White people have more aptitude than Black people. They believe Black people are more impoverished than White people because White people work harder than Black people. Meaning these people believe White people are superior to Black people. Meaning these people believe racist ideas.
Religiously. That lethargic White individual they know is an exception to White people as group being hard workers. That hard-working Black individual they know is an exception to Black people as a group being lazy.
Quick aside #1: I am taking about groups being equals, not individuals. Within and between groups, there are individuals with greater and lesser work ethic. But it is not the case a particular racial *group* works harder than another racial group, and that’s why that racial group is wealthier or poorer. Again, those are racist ideas justifying unequal outcomes.
Quick aside #2: Some people say racial inequities reflect economic inequality. But when you ask them to explain the causes of gaping racial inequities in income, wealth, houselessness, homeownership, and unemployment, they fail to answer intelligibly, or show their denial. They can’t bring themselves to acknowledge racist policies and practices. They certainly can’t bring themselves to question racial capitalism. They know it is racist idea to imagine racial hierarchy. So, they search for other explanations, even as they identify people explaining racial inequities with racist ideas or racist policies as “ideological.” As if their unending search isn’t ideological. As if their self-identification as “not racist” is apolitical.
Because their inactivity and inability to acknowledge and challenge racism *conserves* racism. Even as to conserve racism is to be racist. Even as to be racist and conserve racism is to self-identify almost always as “not racist,” and frame those striving to deconstruct racism as the “real racist.”
All this appalling bigotry often extends past race. These people believe women are inferior to men, and that explains the unequal outcome of women making less than men. (And the people striving to create gender equity are the problem.) They believe low-income people are inferior to middle-income people, and middle-income people are inferior to the super-rich, and that explains unequal economic outcomes between those groups. I could go on.
I hate to break it to these people, but women are not inferior to men, lower income people are not inferior to higher income people, and peoples of color are not inferior to White people. The problem is not the inferior merit, aptitude, and work ethic of certain racial groups. The problem is the structure of racist policies and practices that produces grossly unequal opportunities and outcomes.
There are literally five pages, 59 to 64, in the suit which just lay out all the statements made by Israeli officials, in their own words. It’s all there. In black and white. With footnotes. Kirby can disagree with the suit but he can’t say it is ‘without any basis in fact’.
The Official Story Of October Seventh
The official story is that on October 7, 2023, thousands of evil Hamas terrorists broke out of their walled-in enclave and killed approximately 1,200 Israelis for no reason other than because they were evil and wanted to kill Jews. Nothing was done by the Israeli government to provoke this attack, and nothing of any relevance happened prior to this date.
The attack was as undefended as could possibly be; Israeli defense forces did not respond for nine hours despite having received ample warning that an attack was coming for months, from both their own intelligence services and from Egyptian intelligence. No attempt was made to warn the Nova music festival of an impending attack despite Israeli security forces being aware the day before that an attack was coming, resulting in hundreds of deaths and captured hostages. The attack was met with so little resistance that Hamas themselves were reportedly surprised by how many Israelis they were able to capture and kill, their surprise perhaps due to the fact that they’d spent two years training right out in the open less than a mile from the border for an air, sea and land attack using motorized paragliders, drones and motorboats. This is all perfectly normal and not suspicious at all.
Also not at all suspicious is the fact that 100 percent of the 1,200 Israeli deaths on October 7 are being attributed to Hamas despite Israeli media and eyewitness testimony reporting that the IDF was firing indiscriminately into areas full of Israelis. The burned bodies you see in photos of the October 7 devastation were with absolute certainty burned by Hamas, despite the Israeli government’s acknowledgement that it had previously misidentified hundreds of dead Hamas fighters as Israeli because they’d been so badly burned by IDF fire that their corpses were unrecognizable.
(The official story of October 7 also previously included narratives about beheaded babies, babies cooked in ovens, and babies ripped from the wombs of pregnant mothers, and you were an evil Jew-hating Holocaust denier if you doubted them, but those narratives have since been walked back and are no longer part of the official story, so belief in them is now optional.)
The murder of 1,200 Israelis was so evil and egregious that it has warranted the killing of more than 16,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including more than 7,000 children. It will likely warrant the killing of far more, because Israeli lives are worth much, much more than Palestinian lives. Only a racist Nazi would believe that Palestinian lives matter.
Israel is not to blame for any of the killings in Gaza anyway, because Hamas is using civilians as human shields. It is anti-semitic to ask how Israel has managed to kill so many human shields while killing astonishingly few Hamas fighters and dealing no meaningful damage to Hamas leadership in the process.
Now that 1.7 million Gazans have been displaced and they are being shoved toward the Egyptian border, it is perfectly fine and normal to be seeing official agendas being pushed by Israeli officials and thought leaders to “thin out” Gaza’s population and relocate them to other countries. Only an evil terrorist supporter would call this ethnic cleansing; one ought to think of it more as a permanent vacation.
If you question any part of this official story, you’re an evil Jew-hating monster who loves terrorism and wishes Hitler had won. You should be censored, fired from your job, kicked off campus and disappeared from polite society, because you support genocide and you want good people to die.
Does this make you feel like you’re going crazy? Good. That means it’s working. That means the official story is taking root in your mind. Let it blossom and bloom inside of you. Stop struggling. Relax. The more you struggle, the more it will hurt. Just let your mind go blank and obey. This will be over before you know it.

This book is meant for people who, while dealing with databases, will not accept a black-box solution.
After a quick review of PostgreSQL's core ideas, the book delves deeply into data consistency and isolation, outlining how the locking mechanism, buffer cache, write-ahead log, and multiversion concurrency control are implemented.
The remainder of the book discusses preparing and running SQL queries, data access and join techniques, statistics, and several indexes.

Only Israeli minors are "children"
Palestinian minors are "people aged 18 & younger"
This is NOT a mistake; it's a premeditated carefully worded editorial decision!
Dehumanization is the root of all cruelty, & Western media has been at the forefront of it since Oct 7!
Hamas did NOT start this war. It started in the 1920's and '30's when violent armed Jews began attacking innocent Palestinians. King David Hotel. Deir Yassin.
If doubt that's true, read Thomas Suarez's book "State of Terror", thoroughly documented from primary sources.

The suspension of close friend and mentor Yipeng Ge is wrong and sets a scary precedence for advocacy by residents in the future. I fully stand with and support his work as an advocate and colleague. After all, no radical change ever came from social obedience @yipengGe
It shouldn't be lost on anyone that one reason Pierre Poilievre's Conservatives want to kill CBC is because there'll be one fewer outlet doing stories like these. You'll never see this from Postmedia, they think the public paying more to get less is fine if the rich get richer.
Premier Doug Ford's government gives a for-profit clinic more funding to perform certain OHIP-covered surgeries than it gives Ontario's public hospitals to perform the same operations, CBC News has learned. https://t.co/SWIVPenLlH .
