perhaps season 3 will ignite a genuine spark, but for now, her claim to the throne is empty choreography for her supporters.
she wants the throne simply out of necessityβclinging to the facade of a ruler, desperately performing a battle she lacks the true conviction to fight.
@theBazooka24 i thought it was 10years? as for integration, it depends how u define it. UK is multiracial, so conversations around integration will persist. not really sure how u fix that, especially for adult migrants who have always known a different life/culture
thereβs a repeated pattern where this petulant man child is never able to hold it together when properly scrutinised. heβs not fit to lead a whatsapp group, let alone a country.
Nigel Forage has an absolute car crash on #bbcbreakfast in an interview which he says nobody cares about his Β£5 million pound gift, tries to deflect by comparing what Sally Nugent spends her wag s on, how she earns and accuses the BBC of putting him in danger.
@theBazooka24 as any sensible party leader should. while most people are one issue voters & u could easily whip up support here using immigration as a top issue, voters equally care abt the cost of living & what a stagnant economy means for their wage growth and job prospects
@theBazooka24 sheβs definitely wiser & should be eternally thankful to whoever advised her to stop asking abt immigration at PMQs & also use all 6questions on the same matter until starmer breaks at the dispatch box. her biggest strength is her conviction even though she tends to self indulge
@theBazooka24 reform remains a party of headlinesβthey like to make a splash with big announcements, most of which they havenβt thought through & is easily pulled apart when held up to scrutiny. zia is as awful as they come & his hubris will ultimately cause them to self implode
@theBazooka24 well iβll wait to see the result of the independent inquiry into that Β£5m. for too long the media have acted as his shield from public scrutiny. thereβs def more to that donation & thatβs why he squirms when quizzed
@theBazooka24 yeah the incompetence across the cabinet is painfully obvious. the fact they needed to engineer a safe seat by-election for someone who left SW1 years ago to give them a facelift tells u everything
his weakness was purely structural. post-southport, the media cooked him. his endless u-turns proved he has zero real conviction, while his failure to crush backbench rebellion left him paralyzed. the uk also loves to self destruct so iβm giving andy 6months before they crush him
In my opinion.....Starmer's problem is that he had no vision.
Came into office promising growth but implemented policies offering the opposite.
Was unwilling to challenge his own backbenchers & ended up flip-flopping.
His successor needs to understand that there's no money...
itβs the UKβs addiction to performative politicsβthat itch to self destruct while positioning a (different?) offering as an upgrade. much of what happens in SW1 is a microcosm of a wider problem that makes this country unattractive to investors
We seem to be in a strange place where Keir Starmer is being told he must quit to prevent more uncertainty and chaos (by those who have caused much of it) but then stay on for a couple of months because the guy who has been desperate to take his job is not yet ready to do soβ¦
