As a language enthusiast, I find it interesting how much of our day-to-day NG phrases are translated directly from Yoruba. For example, “Your mind no go touch ground” makes no sense until you consider its etymology in Yoruba “Okàn yín ò ní balè” which is “you will not have peace”
