The most baseless argument I have read on X for some time. Doesn't matter what reasons the govt gave to get it done, I said this then, will say it again - note bandi broke the back of a decade of economic warfare and terror against India in one night. And that's why it was done.

Though India took economic pain for two years, it was highly necessary for national sovereignty and security. It also paved the way for revocation of Art 370, end of naxalism, and reduction in Pak sponsored terrorism inside India.
