Just to add to those who think being a husband is about authority and a woman must submit to that authority...
Submission isn't submitting to "authority" there is no "authority" in marriage. Leadership isn't the same as authority. Submission is the result of the trust a woman has in her husband, since it is earned. A woman has to trust you enough to give into your decisions and ultimately, your leadership.
It's not a right that comes because you're a man or you've paid the bride price, it's beyond all of that; it's not automatic — show you're worthy of it.

If you have a woman you wish to marry and you notice she doesn't trust your leadership enough, let her go. It's either she has issues or you haven't made her believe she can trust your decision. Mind you, you have to keep proving to your wife that you are still worthy of her trust (submission) as long as you're with her; stay consistent in your values, even if she begins to allow 3rd party influence, still remain consistent.
