@NotSoWittyUN @TomCrockerEcho And I quote: "They always stopped our counter-attacks with a simple foul in the midfield. It stops everything. They do it very smart. They have been nasty today“ Try catching Bielsa slag off an opponent when we lose, he would just blame himself. Sour grapes
@NotSoWittyUN @TomCrockerEcho Leeds didn’t choose that pitch. They got lumped with it. Leeds have also had many injuries. How about Ralph complaining Leeds used tactical fouls yet makes no mention of his own players dive & Bednarek holding back the Leeds player for the free saints header in the early minutes?
@Hsjjsk8@bethgabriel_@liveleedsunited With no disrespect intended to Villa, Smith does seem to blame everybody else when things don’t go his way. And whilst sometimes Leeds fans disagree with Bielsa for his teams selection or tactics, one thing he doesn’t ever do is lay the blame at anybody else’s feet but his own
@stevemaher34@mipsical@PhilHay_ This whole mantra that he’s beyond criticism is the most frustrating thing. He’s prone to awful decisions which costs us plenty of points but it’s ok as we stayed in the league. Gets a little old.
@ross_parkes @DWfromHH@PHorsbrough@LUFC Time-wasting like it’s League One. What on earth has happened to Wolves. Shadow of the team they once were. Yes, extremely lucky with the two goals. How Leeds haven’t scored is a mystery as by far an away the best side in both matches. Tonight’s XG 0.8 v 2.6 in Leeds’ favour.
@DannyPowers82 Nice of you to say. Wolves played like a league one side with their time wasting at 0-0. 45 seconds for a throw in really? Better suited to League One
@DannyPowers82 Does the English language trouble you? Wolves poorest side to play Leeds across both matches and freak goals save them. Nuno lucky to still be in a job, but his luck will clearly run out
@stevemaher34@mipsical@PhilHay_ Doesn’t make Bielsa correct does it? Small squads are prone to failure. Proof was in that Bielsa dug his heels in over Struijk being the best option at CDM against Arsenal in the post match then flip flopped by changing it for tonight’s match. Have adequate cover solves this
@stevemaher34@mipsical@PhilHay_ There’s a difference between expecting it before a ball has been kicked and feeling like we’ve been close to deserving it if the club had adequately stocked the squad with enough cover for 1-3 key injuries which was very predictable in the first place. Needless loss after loss
