@Drifead Its like Adelabu saying that cars with plate numbers of Lagos should not be on ibadan road.
They are in thesame WhatsApp group. Inconsequential innovations
@ThatCruiseMedic Whenever I’m on night duty and I hear it’s nurse so-and-so who can suture her episiotomies, I know I can rest easy, the labour room is secure. If she calls me, I know it’s real wahala and I need to be there ASAP.They don’t know how much we appreciate them for knowing these things
It’s nurses who say doctors are taking on all roles, yet still claim they’re doing too much and are overworked—pushing whatever fits their agenda.
Which one should we believe?
Nigeria sef, what’s the essence of teaching Nurses procedures in school and even set it in our OSCE but in practice Nurses are not allowed to carry out many of these procedures. They will say, it is not Nursing procedure leave it the Doctor will do it.
@ThatCruiseMedic@JoshuaSamuell Don’t mind them, chief. Even in private settings where procedures are relatively liberal, most of them don’t do much. In my hospital, just 2 nurses can set lines, those two can do episiorrhaphy too. All others just complain of workload while they call us for everything
@JoshuaSamuell@ThatCruiseMedic It shows you’ve not been practicing if you’re making this example. He asked you to mention one procedure, and you said catheterization? That’s a nurse’s role, and we get annoyed when you call us from clinic just to catheterize a patient simply because he’s male.

@testyduja It’s important to use fair examples when driving home your points. You can’t present what you see as truth and then overextend it with fallacious examples. You’re right, but it’s an overstretch, especially with the example you used.
@AdekemiSaliu@EmeraldZee1 Now this is condescending, and you all always deserve the shade you get.
I can assure you that you will fail that exam.
It’s not chochocho; it’s not shallow knowledge they test
@EmeraldZee1 No one asked sincerely
Anyway, that’s not the point of medical exams. The marking scheme determines a lot. Expectations differ per field. You will be shocked that similar questions are asked in PG, and expectations are higher. So you may answer and still fail, even as a midwife.
@AdageorgeA@Seraphsax_@grok Aunty you're not saying the right thing. Wether grok support your nonsense or not. Its not possible to have systolic lower than diastolic, it cant happen under any circumstance... stop embarrassing yourself with this engagement farming and rest
