Becker (15-12) was upset by Fridley (9-18) in a sectional quarterfinal game. Their top 5 scorers were underclassmen or middle schoolers last year in current fr @AndieChangamire (5'10"--18.9ppg, 5.8rpg), sophs @AdeleChangamire (5'9"--13.8ppg, 6.1rpg), @JosieReckelberg (5'2"--6.4ppg, 3.1apg), & Tess Brown (5'9"--5.9ppg, 5.4rpg), & jr @EilidhMrnak (5'9"--6.2ppg). Becker is in Section 5 with Princeton (14-13) and St. Francis (18-10).

Little Falls (13-15) lost to Alexandria (26-5, #5) in a sectional semifinal. Minimal stats are available for them, but they do return soph @MalinYoungberg (6') and her 8th grade sister @EhlinYoungberg (5'9") as two key pieces to build around over the next 3 seasons. They will once again be in Section 8, but Alexandria has moved up to Class AAAA.

St. Francis (18-10) fell to Monticello (29-2, #1) in a sectional semifinal. In a bizarre bit of statistics reporting, they have 27 games worth of statistics for rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks in the Hub, but only 8 games worth for scoring. They return all but 1 player from last season's squad and return a number of seniors this year, but the reason that they are in the young guns category is the return of jr Emily Schoenrock (6'3"--6.8ppg (in 8 games), 10.7ppg, 3.0bpg) & 8th grader Haley Schoenrock (6'1"--3.1ppg (in 8 games), 8.0rpg). St. Francis is in Section 5 with Becker (15-12) & Princeton (14-13); Monticello has moved up to Class AAAA.
