@agnel88_philip I beg to differ - a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in a 25 year old resulting in surgery where the surgeon stated the IUD was the cause. The 25 year old was not pregnant when the IUD was inserted - it failed - and then caused the ectopic pregnancy

@agnel88_philip When I was young the use of IUDs was not encouraged if you hadn’t had a child. Anecdotal evidence - but a young woman I know and several friends were encouraged to have IUDs inserted- one of them had an ectopic pregnancy, due to the IUD - it bears investigation as a cause too
