@Xerxyval35 @chovygoat Because it is the "Korean" national team. It doesn't matter how much foreign support you have, if you lose Korean public support, you literally cannot field a team to compete for the Asian Games. Just the reality of the situation. It is Korean Taxpayer funds that is used.

@storyofxtm The "hating" is because it is the National team roster for the Asian games. Despite military exception being a huge benefit, the Korean public absolutely hates treating serving the national team as a ticket for that purpose in other sports too.
