#Qatar has strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West Pipeline in #SaudiArabia’s #Riyadh and Madinah regions by several drones originating from Iraq, which resulted in human casualties and material damage.⁠ ⁠ In a statement on Friday, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs [@MofaQatar_EN] said targeting civilian and economic facilities was a condemnable act and a flagrant violation of international law, as well as a dangerous escalation that could undermine regional security and stability.⁠ ⁠ The ministry commended Saudi Arabia’s support for the Iraqi government’s efforts to prevent attacks from its territory and expressed Qatar’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for measures to protect its sovereignty, security and facilities.⁠
