1 - Baby should sleep alone — no objects or people in the sleep space.
2 - Put baby down on his back for every sleep.
3 - Only let baby sleep (naps too!) in a regulated crib, bassinet, or play yard.

@yayayarndiva Thank you! Means a lot. If you'd be willing to tweet out the article I'd be super grateful for your help in getting more eyeballs on this.
Either way, thank you for reading.
@yayayarndiva I’m writing an article and would like to ask your opinion on a weighted sleep sack that’s 18% of infant body weight. How can I reach you?
Unfortunately, they’re completely misrepresenting the conclusion of this clinical study, and using it to mislead their customers.
I’d love your feedback on an article I just published last night.

@Dr_ScottK Have you ever heard of Dreamland Baby, a company that sells weighted sleep sacks that are 18% of a newborn’s body weight?
They’re making false claims left and right about their product “definitely” being safe due to a specific clinical study.

@yayayarndiva Thank you! We are on the same page.
What would be your biggest concern (s) about weighted sleep sacks?
What should parents know?
There’s very little research about them, but more companies are starting to sell them.
To be clear, none of these devices have passed any sort of safety tests or adhere to the safe sleep recommendations from the AAP.
