I have reviewed more than 10 Canada 🇨🇦study visa refusals this month, and the trend is always the same.

1. If someone is sponsoring you, make sure they send the money into your account or send it to a Canadian bank using GIC.

Mere showing your sponsor's account statements and proof of business registrations or employment is NOT enough.

2. If you as the main applicant does not have verifiable means of income like payslips, business documents, employment letter, etc, your chances are really limited except you have a fully-funded scholarship.

3. A lot of you cannot explain sudden huge deposits on your bank account. How can you have 50M dumped into your account once, followed by many low deposits? Your account must be consistently be "busy".

4. Paying 1 year tuition fee is a sign of intentionality even if your school accepts just one semester tuition. This was the ONLY reason one guy was refused last week.

2027: Obidient Movement kicks out Peter Obi, Ahead of Elections

Fresh cracks have emerged within the political movement linked to Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 general elections, following the announcement of the disbandment of the #ObidientMovement and the expulsion of Obi, Yunusa Tanko, and other leaders associated with the group.

The development was announced on Thursday during a press briefing in Abuja, where members of the newly unveiled #OBEDIENT Movement accused the former structure of abandoning its founding ideals for “personal advantage and private gains.”

Speaking at the event, the International Coordinator of the rebranded movement, Barry Avotu Johnson, said the decision to part ways with Obi and his loyalists became necessary after the 2023 elections.

According to him, those who took control of the movement after the polls no longer represented the original vision upon which it was founded.

Johnson also declared that the newly rebranded #OBEDIENT Movement currently has no preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 elections and has completely severed ties with the Labour Party.

The group further claimed that the rebranding was aimed at distinguishing itself from the political interests and leadership style associated with Obi and his allies.
