@Xtopherewesi I was wondering why she did not appear at the Diamond league meet in Rome, especially since the winning time was much slower than what Tobi normally runs. Now I can see she went to Taiwan instead. The money must have been really worth it.
@SamJDean There was no need for him to make that tackle. Once you have been beaten, let the other players cover or at least let him get a shot away and pray the keeper saves. Lunging in made no sense whatsoever.
@SirLeoBDasilva I absolutely disagree with this. Even in the ten minutes or so that Gyokeres played, he still lost his duels. I dont think he would have been able to do anything different.
Now that Favour Ofili's nationality switch to Turkey has been blocked by World Athletics, I wonder how or if she will be able to patch things up with the AFN. If she has already been paid some sums by Turkey, will she have to refund them? I hope she is able to appeal the decision
@SirLeoBDasilva Apart from the fact that our opponents have made adjustments, the quality of the crossing has also dropped. Our setpieces depend heavily on the quality of the balls from Rice and Saka. Saka has been out for a while and Rice is not taking great corners or free kicks anymore.
@EduardoHagn Really sad that we are talking about Norgaad in this manner. He is a perfectly serviceable player but Arteta just does not trust him at all. He is not as bad as Arteta has made him out to be...not even close.
@AsisatOshoala I'd win the champions league amd lose the EPL. We have never won the UCL before and we have a good chance of winning the prem league next season if we dont win it this season. The UCL is much harder to win so anytime you have an opportunity to win it, just take it.
@markgoldbridge You are playing away from home on a yellow card. You just cant give the ref a decision to make. It was so unnecessary and brainless from him. By the letter of the law the ref was justified to give him a yellow. He also got a red card against Arsenal last year but he did not learn
@EduardoHagn He has to go. This is the season where he has no excuses at all. He can't say injuries because the board gave him a squad with two good players in each position. Tactically, the team isn't playing well. He has just shown that he is incapable of taking the team over the line.
@charles_watts Even with the injuries, the style of football we are playing is so so poor. The board gave Arteta a squad this season so that we do not have to trout out the usual injury excuse we have had the last few years but I don't think Arteta has used the squad well at all.
@SirLeoBDasilva I would add Hincapie to the list. His commitment is never in question even on the rare days where he is not playing well. Some like Gabriel Jesus just play as if they are going through the motions.
Arteta looks like he is fed up with Martinelli. That's well worked corner that he played out for goal kick was so poor. Arsenal seriously need an upgrade on the left hand side.
@TosinOlugbenga My understanding is that you'd sell to the grid during summer when you have excess and buy from the grid during winter when there is less sunlight. I have always wondered if anyone has calculated what their annual position is? Do you end up in an overall net positive or negative?
@PanacheTVA If she gets there and does not greet and just goes straight to her seat, the same people will tag her proud, a snub, etc.. She goes around to greet her colleagues out of courtesy yet some people will still reason like this. You can't please human beings.
@Emzyl_ Raya was the manager's decision and this was literally the reason Arsenal spent hundreds of millions to build a squad for Arteta. He has no excuses at all.
@SirLeoBDasilva We were not in control of this one. Let us not be revisionist abeg. We were not in control at all. Even though the error came from Kepa, City deserved the lead based on how they started the second half.
