You are not your customer.
No matter how smart you are or how long you’ve been in the game, you need to stay close to your audience ask questions, pay attention to their behavior, get real feedback
Brands that thrive are the ones that stay curious, stay humble, stay connected.
None of this is pride. This is just what responsible, effective consulting looks like

Before I say yes to working with a brand, I have a checklist.
Not because I am difficult. But because I have learnt the hard way that the wrong partnership wastes two things neither of us can get back, which is time & money. 😄
So here are my non-negotiables:👇👇
Stay with me:
It tells your audience you respect their time, their intelligence, and their decision-making. And in branding, that’s not just good ethics, that’s good business.

"DM For Price": Strategy Or Sales Killer?
https://t.co/THrFgkWnyf
People buy from brands they trust, and trust is built when you remove friction, not create it. The moment you hide your prices or force potential customers to “DM for details,” you introduce doubt. You make them wonder, “Why is it hidden?” or “Will I be overcharged?”

In conclusion....not being top of mind doesn’t necessarily reflect poor positioning, however it suggests that..
top of mind, due to factors like Poor customer service, poor product quality which might eventually affects your overall brand perception.
If you want to be top of mind, become memorable you have to work on other elements of your branding like improving your product quality.
Here is what I think: Brand Positioning & Being top of my mind is not exactly mutually exclusive

Retention isn’t just a strategy, it’s a statement.....
It says, we’re not here to make noise; we’re here to build something that lasts, make your voice heard.
If you want loyal customers and sustainable growth, this is where you start.
At it's core, Customer Retention is rooted..
• Give Them a Reason to Come Back
Loyalty programs work. Reward repeat purchases with milestones (e.g., a free item after their 5th or 6th order), exclusive access, or early-bird offers. Make every next purchase feel like a celebration or a step toward something greater.
• Community Building
This goes beyond just selling, it’s about creating a space where customers feel heard, seen, & involved. it could be a simple private WhatsApp group, a weekly newsletter, or user-generated content campaigns, give your people a voice and a reason to belong.
