Great to join the Congressional Study Group on India to discuss the importance of strengthening U.S.-India relations and the incredible contributions of the Indian American community in my district. I’m committed to enhancing cooperation on the Quad, creative economies, and business investment while pushing back against racist rhetoric that undermines our people-to-people ties.
MUST READ - this new article by researchers and academics from @RutgersU , @ManhattanInst and @ncri_io discusses the active HARM that results from the sort of “caste sensitivity” policies New York State just tried to pass.
Of note - "Activists often kick off moral panics by asserting the existence of a pervasive but difficult-to-measure problem, then demanding a new institutional mechanism to detect and punish it. But just like prior moral panics, there’s little evidence that caste discrimination is widespread—and real evidence that adding it to our laws will make things worse."
We urge everyone to read the entirety of this post and the article it links to. Understand how sometimes simplistic explanations and “solutions” to complex issues are not harmless feel-good activities. Words have power and laws are a sledgehammer -- they need to be grounded in an abundance of proven facts vs emotional assertions.
And as we shared just two weeks ago, CoHNA is proud to have played a leading role in stalling New York State from adding this undefined and biased word into law. Members of our national team from diverse Hindu backgrounds led the fight and will continue to do so to protect Hindu civil rights and religious freedom.
For those who are interested in the complex topic of caste we recommend a reading of https://t.co/sedcYknBiX
Woke activists just failed to add "caste" to New York's anti-discrimination law.
Good.
It was the latest attempt to add a new intersectional identity category into law that would then be used to train Americans to hunt endlessly for traces of oppression in ordinary, everyday life.
Despite what activists claim, there is no evidence of significant caste discrimination in America. Instead, our research shows that exposure to caste-sensitivity training materials and oppression narrative by activist groups make people more paranoid, more punitive, and more likely to see discrimination that didn't exist.
Some participants exposed to these materials even endorsed grotesque anti-Brahmin rhetoric adapted from Hitler's rhetoric about Jews.
The "anti-discrimination" policies pushed by progressives aren't merely useless, they actually increase the very types of prejudice they claim to be against.
In our new article for @CityJournal, @PsychRabble, Danit Finkelstein, and I explain why New York was right to reject this activist project.

Today, on my final day as Director of National Intelligence, I’m releasing never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024. It’s time you know the truth.

@MaryMillben We appreciate your friendship and love for the longest serving, greatest Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi.
May Almighty bless this special bond.

Congratulations to Prime Minister @narendramodi on becoming India's longest-serving elected Prime Minister — 4,399 days of leadership earned through the trust of 1.4 billion people across three democratic mandates. From lifting 250 million out of poverty to making India the world's fastest-growing major economy, PM Modi's tenure has been nothing short of transformational. The US-India partnership has never been stronger.
Under President Trump’s leadership investment is flowing back into the United States at record levels! These partnerships are creating real American jobs and building stronger supply chains. Proof that when the world's largest democracies do business together, everyone wins.
Though India has never pursued imperial conquest or territorial invasion of distant lands, its soldiers have served valiantly under various banners—colonial, allied, and international—often fostering diaspora communities through settlement, skills transfer, and family migration.
This history highlights a unique profile: Indian-origin personnel as reliable, benevolent, loyal, valiant, and intelligent contributors to defense efforts.

Australia and India are two of the most significant democracies in the Indo-Pacific region, positioned at opposite ends of the Indian Ocean. Their partnership is grounded in historical bonds, democratic values, people-to-people ties, economic complementarity, and strategic alignment. Over time, this has evolved into a comprehensive strategic relationship vital for regional stability and global peace. The connections between these two countries are fascinating.

New Delhi expects the Communist regime in Beijing to respect red lines on territorial integrity, counter-terrorism, and water issues.
