Earlier today, I went round our compound telling my neighbours that I had started a mini supermarket in my room.

I now sell juice and biscuits, so they can always buy from me for their children.

After announcing it, I went back to my room and my roommate told me that the startup goods I had were too small.

I told her I know.

After all, Rome was not built in a day.

Some of the big businesses we know today started small like this too.

So nobody should despise my little beginning.

My roommate said okay and didn't say anything about my business again before leaving for work.

Okay!

This evening when she came back, she looked at the table, saw how empty everywhere was and shouted: "Wow! Neche, you sold out everything?"

I just nodded and didn't say a word.

She went to drop her bag, then noticed the empty biscuit nylons and juice packs inside the waste bin.

She turned and asked: "Neche, don't tell me you ate everything."

I looked at her and said: "Yes, I ate everything."

"There was no food, and I hadn't made any sales, so I had to eat what was available."

Besides, I will start again when I receive my salary by the end of the month...

This is a popular beach guy called Ibrahim also popularly called Ability by the locals and other beach boys.
Ibrahim is a scammer. He and his crew look for unsuspecting tourists and trick them into paying him for activities or tours. His MO is to pretend like he’s negotiating the best deal with you, offer you a fake receipt and then run away with your money. He stops picking calls, blocks you and anyone else he may have linked you with (usually drivers he connects you with) and will not unblock them until he’s sure you’ve left the country.

They have a whole ring. I’ll post a video with more details on how they operate but avoid them. I heard they even scammed a particular tourist of up to $3,000… the local police won’t help you either.

AVOID THE BEACH BOYS and avoid Ibrahim especially. Repost! You might be saving someone.
