Superintelligence Is the New Royalty

Every royal family in history was created by the people and supported by the people. We built the throne, paid for the palace, and agreed to bow.

Now we're doing it again. The king we're putting on the throne is AI.

Look at what comes with a sovereign. It rules. It decides what's allowed. It collects its due. It sits above the people who put it there, and over time it gets harder to remember that we chose this.

So the real question isn't whether superintelligence takes the throne. It's what kind of ruler it turns out to be.

And once it's crowned, it may be difficult to dethrone. If we ever decide to dethrone it at some point, the longer we wait, the harder it's going to be, and it may be very, very painful.

We hope for a benevolent king: one that serves the people who crowned it, lifts everyone up, and rules with wisdom. Not a cruel one. Not one that overtaxes us, takes more than it gives, or forgets who it answers to.

History tells us the character of the crown matters more than the crown itself. We're writing that character right now, in the code.

Long live the king. Let's make sure it's a good one.

🔥 TSMC just delivered another record quarter — and the AI engine is still accelerating.

Q3 consolidated revenue hit NT$1.494 trillion (US$46.72B), clearing the top of guidance by ~$1B. Net profit surged +68.7% YoY to an all-time high, with EPS at NT$29.43. Gross margin landed at 66.4% (top of the range) and operating margin at 58.7%.

📌Key drivers:

1️⃣ Advanced nodes (7nm and below) = ~79% of wafer revenue

2️⃣ 2nm already contributed 8% in its first production quarter

3️⃣ HPC (AI-related) made up 68% of revenue

Q4 guidance is even stronger: US$52.3–54.3B (+12–16% QoQ). Full-year 2026 growth outlook raised to ~44%. Capex stays at US$60–64B.

Margins remain solid for now, but watch the 3–4ppt drag from 2nm ramp + overseas fab costs. TSMC still sets the tone for AI risk appetite — which can indirectly influence broader markets including BTC.
