If there is anything that looks like the ark of Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) today, it would be the picture below. That is the Durupınar site in Türkiye.

Geologists have tested this area extensively. It is a natural geological formation. It is a boat shaped mound created by mudflows, consisting of limonite and volcanic rock. 

This one is a random clip floating around on X. The Arabic script carved on the wood has modern vowel marks and dots.

The Arabic language did not even have those specific dots during the early days of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), let alone thousands of years earlier during the flood. And Prophet Nuh did not speak Arabic.

You already know how materials degrade under environmental stress over long periods. Wood buried in soil for millennia does not retain the structural integrity of fresh timber.

When Allah says He left the ark as a sign, it does not promise that the wooden structure will remain perfectly intact until the end of time.

As centuries passed, the physical wood would naturally degrade, petrify, or merge with the earth. This is why expecting to find a fresh wooden ship today is unrealistic and ignores how nature works.

The story of the flood, the consequences of arrogance, and the salvation of the believers is preserved in the Quran for all generations to reflect on.

If it’s about geography, the geography of Durupınar is real, and the theological lesson is eternal. However, we do not need fake digital pictures to defend the Deen.
