#neurodiversesquad Twitter - does anyone know of an app or something you can have for when you're in "overwhelm mode" when you just can't cope with one more *thing* and need to block news sites/notifications etc?
@3TrackMind79 One - but I made myself wait a few years after I'd decided on it & the location.
Then I made myself wait at least a year before I got another. That was 13 years ago (!) I wanted another straight away, but since with my rules not stuck on another design long enough to get it.
@likecrazypaving For me, the most amazing thing was all those things I thought I was a failure for had a reason, a cause. It's just a slightly different brain. Now I can work with it.
I've been blogging about the journey since diagnoses here https://t.co/ZE0efQyEjZ with some tips & such

I've found I like open games, where there are a lot of different play styles or options. E.g. open world, deck building etc. Where there isn't a "right way to win"

@loudlysilent Stop comparing yourself to your peers/others. Everyone does things at their own speed with their own priorities. So what if someone years younger than you is "more successful" - by what metric?
That, and don't listen to job criteria. Apply anyway. "transferable skills"
@ADHDelaide Totally! I feel that my RSD is so much worse at the moment during the pandemic too. Hard to explain why i'm crying suddenly. And no, I am not going to "toughen up"
