when Michelle said Barack has “stubborn optimism” I realized I also really want that in a partner. Somebody who isn’t moved by life’s shortcomings but ALWAYS sees the light at the end of the tunnel. That’s a true leader, not just of a country but a household. what a legacy.
Anyway, just want women around me to understand, you need to start aspiring towards financial independence with the exact same urgency society wants you to aspire towards marriage.
I welcome the challenge by my Lord Justice Lenaola. It is pleasing to see that SCORK judges engage with our commentaries on their decisions. This is how we build our jurisprudence: when the bar-bench path of exchange remains open, rigorous, and respectful.

@Ronn_wan@andrew_mayan I hope the neighbourhood also asks for the political ideologies of the doctors, teachers, lawyers, shopping malls/markets and uber drivers whose services they seek to ascertain their political alignment 🙄🙄
I watched Bellinda Akoth Akello unpack the Polluter Pays Principle with such clarity and command - precise, confident, and deeply grounded in environmental jurisprudence.
Congratulations, Judge 👏

To be dangerously good at what you do!
Spending holidays completely separate like that is a big red flag for most marriages.
From your side it sounds fair and low conflict you keep your family traditions and avoid drama.
From the other side it shows you two still see yourselves as two separate people who happen to share a house instead of one team building a shared life.
Holidays are when families actually become one. If you are already planning to stay split on the biggest family days it usually means the marriage is more roommate than real union.
