"You need to make yourself a big target for luck, and the way to do that is to be curious. Try lots of things, meet lots of people, read lots of books, ask lots of questions."

I was thinking about it again recently, Google Allo was really ahead on the idea of chatting with Google Assistant or @'ing in conversations to build out this Agent/AI UX we have now
Hi Kevin, we were celebrating Chelsea finishing 10th in the League, 33 points behind Arsenal, after spending £1 billion on players who wouldn’t get on our bench and whose only European football next season will be on a beach in Marbella. Thanks for asking!
Mikel Arteta showed the Arsenal players the “pressure is a privilege” motivational speech by Tom Hiddleston a few weeks ago. Now he’s narrating a hype video for the champions league final 👏
From idea to app in just six weeks and featured in the #GoogleIO keynote? 🤯

There was a point where I made my parents get me a Nvidia GeForce card because Matrix didn't run on my PC. I wish I had the foresight convincing my dad to get NVDA stocks.
This was around 2003. 1000$ then worth 1.2m$ today.
In ~2016 when I was more into gaming, I convinced my dad to buy AMD when the new Zen architecture hit because I thought it was important. He got it at ~$8 per share, sold it at ~$14 per share. It was a great profit.
Hindsight, isn’t it funny
Android is shifting to an intelligence system. 🧠
This evolution gives developers a spectrum of ways to engage users. Out of the box, Gemini can automate tasks across your app by analyzing the screen with zero code required.
For deeper integration, the AppFunctions Jetpack library provides an MCP-like solution. By combining your app’s tools, services, and data with natural language descriptions, OS agents can seamlessly discover and execute them.

this makes the first 30% easy with ideation, scaffolding, and really high-fidelity "sketching" an android app.
the remaining 70% will decide if your app gets published. but this gives no excuse to not starting building android native.
We just launched the ability to build native Android apps directly in Google AI Studio for free!
Since launch last week, people have created more than 250,000 Android apps. Likely >99% of these folks never built an Android app before, everyone can now build, no coding required!
