Sure, it's imperative to invest in animal health. But how do we make it happen?
Day 2 of #WOAHGS brought that question into focus. The Animal Health Forum “Investing in Animal Health to Secure Everyone’s Future” moved from principle to practice, unpacking how investment decisions are actually made.
Across the day, discussions explored the economic impact of animal diseases, financing options, co-investment across value chains, how evidence informs policy, and how innovation and digitalisation of animal health services can help de-risk investment decisions.
Take a look at the live discussions: https://t.co/usdUzHx9hf?
Animal health receives just 0.6% of global health spending — yet it is one of our strongest defenses against disease outbreaks, food insecurity, and future pandemics. Prevention costs far less than crisis response. It’s time to invest in animal health.
