Bengaluru Traffic Police Advisory: "Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre has forecast heavy rainfall in Bengaluru from June 7 to 9, 2026. Citizens are advised to exercise caution while driving through waterlogged areas, avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain & use BTP ASTraM app and Bengaluru Traffic Police’s official social media handles for real-time traffic updates and important alerts" @blrcitytraffic

@nch1915 The NCH is a good initiative, but many companies appear to treat it as optional rather than serious grievance redressal
Ignoring consumer complaints until legal proceedings begin only increases frustration, delays resolution, and weakens trust in the system.

Oil refineries were already producing naphtha as a byproduct of making petrol and diesel. When heated to extreme temperatures, naphtha could be "cracked" into ethylene and propylene, which are ideal monomers for polymerisation. Cheap, abundant, simple chemistry. By the mid-20th century, virtually all plastic production had shifted to petroleum-based feedstocks.
