BJP is set to win in West Bengal.
Now let's talk about real issues.
Sayoni Ghosh will stop singing "Kaaba in my heart, Madina in my eyes" and start singing "Shri Ram Janki Baithe Hain Mere Seene Mein"
And she will endup joining BJP after elections. BJP leaders will say BJP is open for everyone.
What are you going to do about that??
Saayoni Ghosh: We (TMC) don't need lord Raam for winning elections.
Saayoni Ghosh's very next moment singing: Kaba Jana hai, Madina Jana hai..
It's not Political anymore. It's personal for Hindus.
Those who hate Mamata!
Go live with your family for 2 months
in Manipur, Bihar, or U.P
If Mamata doesn’t start feeling like God after that then you can talk.

Vice President
West Bengal Trinamool Congress
Respected Sirs,
On behalf the common people of West Bengal I hereby lodge this serious complaint with you for due redressal and immediate intervention.
Today, on the 1st of May, 2026 i.e., May Day the above mentioned officer Mr Gautam Das who happens to be the present Officer In-charge of Kalighat police station, Kolkata has put up a post in social media (facebook with id no. https://t.co/YYcaTkCtpQ) with his own photograph in police uniform with a tag line: "Ready for new assignment".
The photograph is not only disturbing but also highly objectionable in the eye of law. He is holding a very sophisticated weapon in his hand aming to someone in front of him.
First of all, in our State no police officer on duty can take photograph of his own in uniform and post it on the social media, as per Memo No. 16/CP/ Dt. 19/02/2026. Sub - Guidelines for use of social media by Kolkata Police personnel. In many other states same kind of restrictions are in place. Further present protocol of Government of India regarding standard uses of social media prohibits such open exhibition of arms and that too with a threatening caption.
Secondly weather such an weapon was allotted to him or weather he is trained to use such sophisticated weapon are in questions.
Thirdly the agenda and tone of his social media post is not only dangerous but also highly controversial as it is conceived as direct threat to general public.
Such highly offensive and law-breaking act cannot be condoned and should be inquired and punished appropriately.
Thus I place the case in front of you for your immediate intervention and appropriate action.
Regards,
Jay Prakash Majumdar
Vice President
West Bengal Trinamool Congress

My Final Take Before May 4
I believe most pollsters are playing it safe this time. Bengal has rarely delivered fractured mandates—and there’s a reason for that.
Bengalis are deeply emotional voters. They don’t hedge. They don’t sit in the middle. They swing hard. They love with intensity, and they reject with the same force. In Bengal politics, it’s never incremental—it’s absolute.
It’s always everything or nothing.
That’s why I don’t buy the idea of a tight, fragmented result. If there is a winner, that winner is likely crossing 180–200 seats.
Now the real question: where is that consolidation happening?
There’s a narrative being pushed—that Left, Congress, ISF voters have tactically shifted to TMC to stop BJP. That leaders across ideological lines have silently aligned to ensure Mamata Banerjee’s fourth term.
Frankly, that feels like overthinking.
What seems more plausible is the reverse: a consolidation among Hindu voters cutting across party lines. Even traditional TMC supporters from Hindu backgrounds may have voted differently this time.
If turnout numbers are indeed being driven by that consolidation, then we could be looking at a historic shift.
History offers a pattern. Whether 1946 or 2026—when people feel their identity, land, or existence is at stake, divisions blur. Political preferences take a backseat. Survival instincts take over.
And when that happens, Bengal doesn’t fragment—it unifies decisively.
May 4 will give us the answer.
But one thing is clear: when pushed to the edge, people know how to stand together.
Read this and if you think even after this we don’t deserve a change in WB then you are uneducated and a part of the predator gang.
In no time we will become Bangladesh if we don’t stop this.
Listen to what Hindus from Falta Assembly in Diamond Harbour are openly saying.
Jahangir Gang openly threats:
“We want to throw you out of your homes. Leave this place now and come back after 5 years.”
Many Hindus have already left their houses. They only return occasionally to light incense and dhuno at their own homes (too scared to stay)
“They are issuing direct threats of rape against Hindu women.”
“Hindu boys are being picked up, taken away, and forced to fall at the feet of Jihadis and beg for forgiveness.”
“Boys from the local party office are regularly harassing and passing lewd comments at Hindu girls.”
“Hindus are being stopped from voting. They are not allowed to cast their votes.
If someone is identified as Hindu, they are beaten up.”
For the last 15 years, Hindus in this area have systematically been prevented from voting. If anyone supports or works for BJP, their shops and businesses are forcibly shut down.
This is the ground reality being reported from Falta, Diamond Harbour.
Hindus are living in fear in their own area, unable to live peacefully in their homes, unable to vote, unable to run their businesses freely, and facing constant threats, humiliation and violence.
This cannot continue. @narendramodi@AmitShah
and @ECISVEEP must take immediate notice.
