Different workloads, different tradeoffs.

Vercel is great for Next.js, but you can’t run things like Redis or Kubernetes there.

There are also significant differences in container management, scalability and cost between Hetzner and AWS.

I could run everything on AWS, but for some workloads I’d just be paying more for no real benefit.

Those models are complex and deterministic. Involving probabilistic models in them could be risky but interesting.
