The most misunderstood trait in mental health:
Introversion.
It's why you're energy is drained, your relationship is toxic, and your nervous system is in chaos.
Here’s everything you need to know about being an introvert (& how to turn it into your superpower):
Most people are asleep.
They never questioned what they were told, and what they are told shapes their psyche that interprets and acts on the billions of bits of information they process throughout their lives.
They live, marry, work, and die in their sleep without waking up.
The best reason to learn history is not in order to predict the future, but to free yourself of the past and imagine alternative destinies. Of course, this is not total freedom – we cannot avoid being shaped by the past – but some freedom is better than none.

“Every one of us is losing something precious to us. Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back again. That’s part of what it means to be alive.”
— Haruki Murakami
18 years ago, a struggling actor named Bryan Cranston made a shift that changed his life.
His mindset (and how you can use it to change yours):
Bryan was going from audition to audition but not getting parts.
He was trying to win the job each time.
But he had the job wrong...
Old mindset:
The purpose of an audition was to get a job.
New mindset:
The purpose of an audition was to serve the script in a unique way that only he could do.
Whether he got the job or not was up to someone else.
This mindset shift was an inflection point in his career. Bryan has been busy ever since, starting with guest roles on Seinfeld to 6 Emmy awards for Breaking Bad.
Takeaway:
Attachment to outcome gets in the way of our best work. This is true in business, in art, in life.
Goals are important because they set a direction. But goals are in the future.
If you are overly focused on your goal in the moment, it will block your authentic best.
As the Stoic Philosopher Seneca wrote:
“The more you seek to control external events, the less control you will have over your own life.”

On this day 197 years ago the world's first ever public railway was opened in northern England.
And a whole new form of architecture was born: the train station.
So, to celebrate, here are some of the world's greatest train stations...
In 1975 Jerry Seinfeld experienced the biggest inflection point of his career.
Long before his hit sitcom and meteoric rise to fame, Jerry identified a single skill that separates people who accomplish great things from those who don't:
"Finding the torture you're comfortable with."
In an interview with Howard Stern, he described it like this:
Jerry: I'm never not working on material. Every second of my existence, I'm thinking, could I do something with that?
Howard: That, to me, sounds torturous.
Jerry: Your blessing in life is when you find the torture you're comfortable with.
At age 21, Seinfeld found what Paul Graham wrote about in his essay How to Do Great Work:
“What are you excessively curious about — curious to a degree that would bore most other people? That's what you're looking for.”
Inflection points can only inspire great results if the action that follows can be sustained.
Find the torture you can sustain.

A week has gone by and Western media is still relentlessly trying to paint Hardeep Singh Nijjar as some kind of saint that an “intolerant regime” in India could not stand. There have been tireless efforts to eulogise Nijjar as a Sikh leader, a Sikh activist, a tireless campaigner, a father figure, a poor hardworking plumber and what not. All of this while covering up the fact that this humble, innocent man, just happened to be on the no-fly list of the US and Canada. He just happened to be an internationally wanted criminal with a Interpol red corner notice against him. He just happened to have arrived in Canada on a fake passport. He just happened to have his citizenship rejected twice. He just happened to lead a terror group called Khalistan Tiger Force. He just happened to be on the bad books of India and involved in the murder of a Hindu priest and a fellow “Sikh leader” who was not saying the right things anymore. He just happened to be an accused in a couple of deadly bomb blasts in Punjab. He just happened to fly to Pakistan several times to get trained by the ISI. He just happened to have AK-47s, prohibited in Canada, that he fired around in the fields with his little temple buddies, totally not running a terror training camp. He just happened to be entangled with gangsters and human traffickers in Canada, not all of whom were his friends. Man, the innocence is dripping. Oh what did a poor maple syrup country do to see bloodshed like this? What in the 2SLGBTQIA+ is happening in Canada!
Humanising Nijjar is the greatest disservice that you can do to his victims. We are lucky that despite the delusions of the Western media, hardly anyone but those who mean to deliberately obfuscate the truth, has fallen for their lies. The pushback has been glorious. And Justin Trudeau has been left red-faced and exposed for his naked aggression towards India in defence of Khalistanis.
